GPM Strengthens Service Team in Duluth and Minneapolis Service & Repair Centers

Duluth, MN: August 21, 2018 - GPM, Inc. (GPM) is pleased to announce the company has added depth and expertise to their Service & Repair Center team with additions of several new hires and promotions in their Duluth and Minneapolis (MSP) Service & Repair Center locations.

“Service and repair is crucial to GPM’s overall success as a company, and we’re excited about expanding our team” said Blake Kolquist, General Manager, GPM Service & Repair. “We’re adding decades of hands-on, technical and managerial industry experience to enhance our service offerings with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.”

Ryan Schmidt has been promoted to Service Project Manager. Schmidt, in his previous role as Service Coordinator, played an integral role in expanding GPM’s equipment inspection and reporting process and implementation, while coordinating shop scheduling activities. In his new role, Schmidt will manage strategic account service projects in the field and out of the Duluth Service & Repair Center.

Jake Mellinger has been promoted to Service Coordinator for the Duluth Service & Repair Center. Mellinger has six years of experience at GPM, beginning on the warehouse team then transitioning as a service technician for the past four years. During his time as a service technician, Mellinger was instrumental in the improvement and advancement of service procedures for the GPM-Eliminator™, and conducted pump service training for North American customers. Mellinger’s technical background and experience at GPM provide a significant boost to the increased demand on service coordination, and help to improve the efficiency of GPM processes.

Jacy Greensky has rejoined the Duluth Service & Repair Center as a Service Technician, after pursuing continuing education. Greensky originally joined GPM in 2015, and now has over two years of experience working on GPM-Eliminator repairs. With GPM’s growing customer base, he is a vital asset in pump repairs and service in the Duluth Service & Repair Center.

Greg Chester joined GPM in June, 2018 as a Blower Repair Specialist at GPM’s MSP Service & Repair Center. GPM Pumps Parts & Service recently partnered with Howden Roots, expanding the company’s presence in the rotary blower market. Chester joined forces with GPM, bringing with him over 29 years of blower service, repair and sales experience. He will continue to lead blower service efforts, while also growing his consultative role in the GPM salesforce.

Ryan Nowaskey joined the MSP Service & Repair Center in July, 2018 as a Service Manager. Nowaskey most recently managed a Mechanical Seal Service Center where he demonstrated the ability to improve service efficiencies, on-time delivery and quality control. This experience will play a key role in the continued growth of the MSP Service & Repair Center.
